Anaphylaxis Awareness

Course Description

The non accredited Anaphylaxis Awareness course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to recognise and manage people who experience an Anaphylaxis reaction. This session also provides training in the use of an EpiPen where it is medically prescribed as part of an Anaphylaxis Action Plan.

  • Common Triggers
  • Signs and Symptoms
  • Management of a reaction
  • EpiPen—Use and Storage
  • What to do after an episode
  • Prevention of Reaction
  • Development of a Management Action Plan  

Methods of Delivery and Course Duration

Full Course:

  • 2 Hours of face to face training and assessment

Course Information

Pre-requisite:   Nil

On successfully completing the training, participants will obtain an Australian Lifesaving Academy of WA Certificate of Participation.

Anaphylaxis Awarenes:

$50.00 per person (GST exempt)
